Every signup gets the same thoughtful follow-up, in your church’s voice, every time. Your team steps in for the conversations that matter most.
Texting & Email Follow-Up
Every reply lands in one shared inbox
Two-way texting from your church’s own number, plus email. When someone replies, it lands in one shared inbox, and a push notification goes to the person who owns the conversation.
- Two-way texting from your church’s own number, plus email
- Automatic follow-up from any signup form
- Consent-first: imports require consent, and opt-outs are respected
Why it matters: People answer texts. When every reply lands in one shared place, nothing gets lost between staff phones.
Planning Center Automations
Planning Center stays your one current record
Planning Center People stays your main record. Your lists become audiences, and every signup lands in Planning Center.
- Form signups matched to an existing person, or created as a new one
- Kids from forms added to your household in Planning Center for check-in
- SMS opt-in written back, and form answers saved as notes
Why it matters: Planning Center stays your main record, so there’s nothing to migrate and no double entry.

Sermon Studio Coming soon
Share Sunday’s message all week long
Sermon Studio doesn’t write sermons. It turns the message you already preached into a week of content. Paste a transcript or manuscript, and get a summary, devotional, weekly email, social posts and small group questions, all ready for your team to review.
- Starts from a message you’ve already preached
- Your team reviews everything before it goes out
- 4 sermons a month on Grow, 8 sermons a month on Reach
Why it matters: Your sermon is already your best content. Sharing it during the week keeps people connected.
Questions pastors ask
Do I need to assign anyone to follow up?
No. Once a follow-up is on, it runs by itself for every person who signs up. Nobody has to remember, including you. When someone replies, the conversation lands in your team inbox so a real person can answer.
Can I change the wording?
Yes, every word. Steeplewise writes the texts and emails for you, and you can edit any of them yourself or just ask in chat for a change.
Will it sound like us?
It will, because it’s yours. Use your church’s name, your pastor’s name and your own way of saying things. Texts come from your church’s own number.
What if they don’t reply?
That’s fine. The follow-up keeps going: their details, then reminders before the date, whether or not they write back. If they do reply, your team sees it in the shared inbox.
Do I need tech skills?
None. If you can explain what you want to an admin, you can build a follow-up in Steeplewise. The optional Guided Launch ($149) can also help you set things up.
What kinds of signups does it work for?
Any signup form you create: Baptism, Membership Class, Meet the Pastor, Small Groups, Serve Teams, Child Dedication, Newcomers Lunch, Marriage Class, events and first-time guests.
Is texting consent-first?
Yes. Nobody is texted until they opt in, imports require consent, and opt-outs are always respected.
Never wonder if someone got the details again
